Ephesians - Sermon Conversation: While in prison for advancing Jesus’ Kingdom, the Apostle Paul wrote a compelling letter to bind together in Christ the church of Ephesus as well as the Church throughout the area and ages.
The letter is a call to GROW UP in the ways of Christ's Household! Rather than a list of do's and don't, the letter is more of a Spirit-led prayer about:
The new/rich/graceful life available in Christ… The new household/family/society formed in Christ… The new commitments for loving and living in Christ… The new relationships made for harmony in Christ… The new weapons for battle against dark power to reclaim peace in Christ.
Each week we will unfold a section of Paul's letter and meditate upon it's message about all of creation being bound together in Jesus. We will treat each section as a hand-written note by the Apostle Paul for the purpose of growing up in Christ the Coastal church community today. Through Shared Household Practices… + We feel closer by taking common ACTION in the Way of Jesus. + We take steps TOGETHER that we hadn’t been able to take alone. + We have a LIVING Story of Resurrection to share.
Listen. Practice. Open the letter(s) along with us...
